Course Description:
Product stewardship is a cross-functional discipline that extends across the entire organization as well the entire value stream. This presentation highlights techniques that can be used to develop and implement a new product stewardship management system or to refine and improve an existing program. Techniques include conducting a SWOT analysis, RACI as well as creating a risk map to identify priorities. This session includes the critical elements of a product stewardship management system including governance (standards and SOP's) as well as awareness training for all aspects of the value stream. The concept of a chief product steward is also highlighted.
