Course Description:
The Circular Economy is a concept that has been gaining momentum over the past several years and is now being discussed as a basis for EU environmental policy. It is a system that is restorative or regenerative by intention and is designed to eliminate waste and make better use of resources. At Hewlett-Packard, the Circular Economy is a useful framework for extending how they think about product stewardship beyond individual product designs to creating closed-loop materials cycles and product-as-service models that maximize resource efficiency. This session will show how HP is incorporating Circular Economy concepts into its business strategies and how other companies can use these concepts enhance the business value and effectiveness of their product stewardship programs.
