Enabling World-Scale Advanced Circular Recycling of Plastics (PSX 2020 On Demand)

Course Description:
Plastic waste is a major problem worldwide. With only 12 percent of plastics being recycled, most are landfilled, incinerated or sent to dumps, where they may seep into the environment. And, when waste plastic is landfilled or incinerated, the materials and the resources used to create them are lost forever. On the positive side, many major brands have now established admirable goals for recycled, sustainable solutions for their products and packaging. But how are we, the partners in the supply chain, going to assist them in meeting those goals? Traditional mechanical recycling has limitations and many chemical recycling solutions are still several years out.
