Course Description:
Requirements to disclose non-financial reporting related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria are increasing. Several recent European Union due diligence regulations and strategies, such as the EU Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability, place more emphasis on corporate disclosure, requiring product information at the supply chain level. In this presentation, the speakers will discuss the links between corporate ESG requirements and how those links are reflected in product stewardship. The speakers will discuss managing product risks through materials risk assessment and sustainable chemicals management plans. Finally, we will discuss implications for ESG disclosure requirements along the entire supply chain to mitigate against business risks and achieve sustainable chemistry goals.
