Course Description:
Since the announcement of the United Kingdom's regulatory regimen, there have been significant changes in policy and direction. The U.K. government has delayed the deadlines set under U.K. REACH and are considering an overhaul of its entire position. The U.K. government's stance on Annex VIII of the classification, labeling, and packaging (CLP) regulation has been reversed, and there is greater regulatory divergence. This session will explore the current state of play with the U.K. chemicals regimen, what changes have occurred and why, and what this means for organizations that are putting products on the market in the U.K. The speaker will also discuss future divergence and potential policy changes.
