Materials Compliance and Transparency, Part 2 (PSX 2022 On Demand)

Course Description:
We're seeing a shift in focus from substances alone to substances in materials or products by governments, NGOs, and companies alike when discussing substances of concern in our daily lives. Communicating the required information to other supply chain members requires significant transparency in order for companies to meet their obligations and customer requests. The degree of preparedness varies by industry, and those new to material disclosures can benefit greatly from the industries with prior experience. Using a fireside chat format, this session will continue the discussions of part 1, but focus on a panel of industry experts. These experts will share their experiences in dealing with similar disclosure initiatives, the challenges they faced, and how their companies or industries have overcome these challenges to meet the legal obligations. The aim is to begin to build up an understanding of common challenges and best practices. Attendees will be encouraged to bring their own challenges and questions and the session moderator will use issues raised in part 1 to help shape the conversation. The panel will be composed of 3 industry leaders and subject matter experts from different industries.
