    Description

    This course will help new product stewards understand the complexities surrounding sustainability and give a brief overview of regulations, frameworks and concepts that you need to be aware of.

    • Mary Ellen Snow, CPPS

      Mary Ellen began her career at Ergon, Inc in 2006 as an environmental scientist. Since being at Ergon, Inc., she has been the primary SDS author, coordinated all federal and state chemical reporting for all Ergon, Inc. facilities, and is responsible for global chemical compliance efforts such as REACH and K-REACH. Mary Ellen received her B.S., Chemistry from Mississippi State University and received a M.S., Chemistry from Mississippi College. She was also the first class of Certified Professional Product Stewards (CPPS). Currently she serves on the Asphalt Institute’s EPD working group, the Product Stewardship Society’s Education Committee, and the FEICA Paper & Packaging working group

    • Damon Waterworth

      Damon joined Yordas Group upon completion of his Master’s degree in 2018. Having previously worked as a Planning Policy Officer in local government and a Project Assistant for an onshore wind energy company, Damon now leads Yordas’ Sustainability division and specialises in the delivery of life cycle assessment (LCA), ecolabelling, management systems and auditing services. Damon is currently a member of the BSI committee for LCA ISO standards and has recently developed the Royal Society of Chemistry accredited e-learning course: “A Practical Guide to Conducting a Life Cycle Assessment”. He holds a Master of Science degree in Energy and Environmental Management (with Distinction) from Lancaster University and a First Class Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Chester
