Recent Updates in Chemical Regulatory Management in Four Asian Countries (PSX 2023 On Demand)

Description:
The past several years of global pandemic have greatly challenged the entire chemical industry value chain. However, Asia remains an attractive market for global chemical enterprises. In many Asian countries, there has been a number of updates to existing regulations and the introduction of several new regulatory schemes in the chemical management area. Given the long distance and language barriers, companies outside of Asia are constantly challenged to understand and stay on top of the current regulatory situation. This session will introduce the audience to the different chemical regulations and effective compliance strategies for four Asian countries: China, Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan. Regulatory initiatives to be discussed will include China's Measures for the Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances (MEE Order No. 12) and Action Plan for New Pollutants Treatment; Taiwan's Toxic and Concerned Chemical Substance Control Act (TCCSCA); South Korea's K-REACH, K-BPR, and K-OSHA; and Japan's Chemical Substances Control Law (CSCL).
