CPPS Exam Prep Discussion Member Meet-Up

Description

Member Meet-Ups are 30-minute sessions for industry professionals to connect and collaborate on the ideas, skills, and solutions product stewardship teams need to move forward. What to bring: current work challenges, ideas, and a collaborative problem-solving mindset!

For The Month of May:

The focus of this Member Meet Up revolves around the CPPS exam. This will be a valuable opportunity for anyone who intends to pursue their CPPS certification and for those who are already certified to share their experience. While attendees can’t share specific questions or answers, they will be able to share their exam prep strategies, identify subject areas that may need additional study time, gain a deeper understanding of the value of the CPPS certification, and hopefully walk away with a greater sense of confidence about passing the exam.

Contributors

  • John Mikan, CPPS

John Mikan is President of Experien Health Sciences, Inc., a global chemical regulatory consulting firm based in Houston, TX, with over 30 years of professional experience in industrial hygiene and product stewardship. John is reported to be the very first person to sit for (and pass) the CPPS exam. He will facilitate the discussion, share his experience with the exam, and share his perspective as someone experienced in a broad range of product stewardship practice areas. John maintained a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential for 32 years but retired that credential to focus instead on maintaining his CPPS credential because it more closely reflected his career over the past 20 years.
