Guided Multifactor Monitoring for Substances of Interest Workshop

Description

Workshop Description:
In this event, we will explore the complex landscape of regulatory changes affecting industries amidst evolving environmental and health concerns. Through real-world examples like PFAS substitutes and microplastics, we'll illustrate the design of multifactor monitoring systems integrating academic, media, and regulatory inputs. Participants will engage in an interactive session, crafting a GMM tool tailored to their needs and gaining insights from implemented projects, empowering them to navigate regulatory challenges effectively.

This event will provide practical guidance on navigating complex regulatory landscapes and emerging environmental and health concerns. Through interactive sessions and real-world examples, participants will learn how to design and implement multifactor monitoring tools tailored to their specific requirements, enabling them to stay compliant, informed, and resilient in the face of regulatory changes and disruptions. By engaging with experts and sharing lessons learned from implemented projects, attendees will gain valuable insights and actionable strategies to address current and future challenges effectively.

Learning Objectives:
At the end of the session, attendees will:

  • Be able to draft the scope for their targeted multifactor monitoring
  • Find synergies between different factors that can impact their product (scientific knowledge - media - regulatory design)
  • Define different monitoring targets (e.g. to monitor the next emerging issue with a specific substance, or monitor emerging knowledge on product-related risks)

Length:

1 hour and 30 minutes
